Coalition Mission Statement

The Coalition's mission is to prevent any public or private entities from jeopardizing the safety of children and everyone who attends or lives near Marquez Charter School. The objectives are to:

Safeguard children from exposure to any hazardous condition or harmful substance

Prevent a DWP power distribution substation from being built next to the Marquez Charter Elementary school

Educate the community on the harmful effects of highly concentrated Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs)

Advocate "Children's Safety First" before LAUSD, elected government representatives, and public decision makers

Organize the community to establish a safe sanctuary for kids and area residents
